An ad tag is a small piece of code that defines the ad space where you want to display ads. When you place ad tags in your inventory, they send ad requests to OpenX, which sends delivery responses to serve ads. Each ad tag includes parameters describing the inventory that advertising campaigns can target. You can customize ad requests to support your particular implementation using the OpenX ad request API.
